Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports

Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports is a peer-reviewed academic journal with open access that publishes original research and review articles relating to all aspects of physical education and body culture in society. The journal covers topics from a wide range of academic disciplines connected with various aspects of sport, health, and physical culture, contributing to the dissemination of modern research results in this area. Starting from Vol. 3, No. 1, 2024, the journal has narrowed its focus to more specific topics.

The journal was founded in 2022 and is published semi-annually.

The founder and publisher of the journal is the Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav.

The scientific journal is included in category “B” of the List of scientific specialised publications of Ukraine, in which can be published the results of dissertations for obtaining the scientific degrees of doctor and candidate of sciences in specialties: 0114 – Teacher training with subject specialisation; 1014 – Sports (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 491 dated 27.04.2023).
