Aims and Scope

The journal addresses important issues related to the development of physical culture and sport, including various theoretical, methodological, and practical approaches to athlete training, physical education development, active recreation, as well as scientific research in the fields of sports tourism, Olympic and professional sports. Additionally, special attention is given to the impact of physical culture on health and physical performance, as well as the historical, philosophical, pedagogical, and psychological aspects of physical culture in the context of sports practice.

Starting from Vol. 3, No. 1, 2024, the Editorial Board has narrowed the thematic scope of the journal, focusing on the following key areas:

  • theoretical and methodological bases of training athletes;
  • physical culture and physical education of different groups of the population;
  • active recreation in physical culture and sports;
  • Olympic and professional sport;
  • biological principles of human motor activity;
  • the role of physical culture and sport in improving health and physical performance;
  • theoretical, methodological and organisational foundations of sports tourism and orienteering;
  • history, philosophy, management, pedagogy and psychology in the physical culture: articles should approach these topics from the perspective of the physical culture and sports field.

Articles should be written with consideration of the specific nature of physical culture and sport, exploring these topics through theoretical, methodological, organisational, and applied perspectives. The issues covered by the journal include both fundamental scientific research and practical concerns related to the development of physical culture, sport, health, and active lifestyles at various levels.
