Abstract

Relevance of the research topic. Due to the deteriorating health and reduced level of physical fitness of students, innovative activities in physical education are becoming important. According to experts, the main purpose of physical education in primary school is to gain experience in practical activities in the school of movements, the formation of sustainable motivation for a healthy lifestyle. Currently, domestic scientists pay much attention to the development of innovations in the field of physical culture and sports. To increase students' motivation for physical education lessons, scientists suggest that teachers use non-traditional tools, methods and forms of teaching. However, the introduction of innovative technologies in the process of school physical education is still limited, it is insufficient to use interesting for children types of physical activity. In our opinion, the use of mini-basketball in the process of physical education of junior schoolchildren is quite effective. However, at present there is a lack of development in this direction, which determines the relevance of our study. The aim of the study:substantiation and development of methods of combined development of physical abilities of junior schoolchildren in the process of learning the technique of mini-basketball elements. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical methods (observations, experiments, testing); anthropometry; physiological research methods (pulsometry, spirometry, Stange and Gench tests, Rufier test); methods of mathematical statistics (correlation and factor analysis). Results: Our data show that such physical abilities as strength, speed, coordination skills, flexibility have a high growth rate in the studied groups of children, which will necessitate the planning of more exercises in this direction. The use of a combined method of learning movements and development of physical abilities requires compliance with guidelines (rest intervals, duration and intensity of exercises, rest intervals), the developed recommendations were later included in the content of models of exercises in mini-basketball. Conclusions: Exercises for teaching technical and tactical actions of mini-basketball were aimed not only at mastering the elements of the game at all stages of training (from motor skills), but also at the simultaneous development of physical abilities, which leads to the use of combined physical and technical training. To this end, models of integrated development of physical abilities of children aged 9-10 in the process of learning the elements of mini-basketball were developed, which include: description of the exercise; its graphic image; physical ability, which mainly develops in the process of performing this exercise; parameters of components of physical activity (intensity, volume, intervals of rest) which meet requirements of the directed development of this or that physical ability
