Features of physical education and control systems in educational institutions of the People's Republic of China

Abstract

Introduction. The presented scientific article summarizes and systematizes existing scientific research on the study of the characteristic features of the organization of physical education in the People's Republic of China. The purpose of the article is to investigate modern approaches to the organization of physical education and the control system in educational institutions of the People's Republic of China. The research was carried out by scientists of NUPESU and Xichang University (PRC). A complex of theoretical methods was used to solve the tasks: a systematic analysis of literary sources and documents, comparison, generalization and systematization, which were carried out in order to study the experience of scientists who are engaged in researching the functioning and improvement of the physical education system of the People's Republic of China. The results of the study determined that according to the national standard of physical fitness of student youth of the People's Republic of China, the evaluation system is a complex indicator that consists of the sum of the scores of individual tests multiplied by their corresponding weighting factors. In the system of criteria for assessing the level of physical fitness of students of the People's Republic of China, it is mandatory to take into account indicators of physical development: BMI (body mass index) and VLC (vital lung capacity). The system of monitoring the level of physical fitness of schoolchildren and students of the People's Republic of China is an exam in the subject «Physical Culture». Conclusions. A significant role in the system of training highly qualified, competitive specialists in various branches of the national economy, economics and education of the People's Republic of China belongs to physical culture, which in the system of educational institutions of the People's Republic of China acts as an important means of social and professional formation of future specialists, their spiritual and physical self-development. Physical education of schoolchildren is a mandatory part of the educational process in general educational institutions of the PRC, the activities of which are regulated by the Orders of the Ministry of Education of the PRC
