Abstract
Introduction. At present, an important direction of state policy is to ensure the health of the nation. In recent decades, there has been a steady trend towards the deterioration of the physical fitness of the younger generation, which is most pronounced in the school period of life. As experts note, in recent decades, the school physical education systems of developed foreign countries have been dominated by a health-improving orientation, which determines the promotion of timely psychophysical development, increasing the level of physical fitness, and strengthening the health of children and adolescents (Krutsevich, 2012; Krutsevich, Pangelova, Trachuk, Ivannik, 2019; Moskalenko, Yakovenko, Ovcharenko, Sydorchuk, 2020; Moskalenko, Yakovenko, Ovcharenko, 2021; Trachuk, Krutsevich, Mamedova, 2022;). The purpose of the study is to reveal the content and methodological features of the program with elements of children's health fitness and to determine its impact on the development of coordination abilities of younger schoolchildren. Research materials and methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical literature; pedagogical methods (experiments, testing); anthropometry method; methods of mathematical statistics. The results. 48 pupils of 7-10 years of IGSE No. 7 of Pereyaslav, Kyiv region (24 girls and 24 boys) took part in the research. The developed program for the development of coordination abilities of junior high school students by means of health fitness was experimentally tested in the process of conducting physical education lessons. Conclusions. Therefore, health fitness affects the body's systems (cardiovascular, respiratory, excretory, etc.), reduces mental stress, increases mental and physical activity, and contributes to a positive improvement in emotional well-being. The use of health fitness and directing its forms to the development of body control skills, coordination of one's own movements in space will contribute to the full development of coordination abilities. The results of the conducted studies testify to the effectiveness of the application of fitness elements in physical education classes with the aim of improving coordination abilities
