Abstract
Introduction. The article is devoted to generalization of data of scientific researches on determination of organizational and methodological aspects of optimization of children's motor activity in conditions of summer recreation camp. The purpose is to analyze, systematize and summarize the data of literary sources on the introduction of new types of motor activity in the recreational work of summer recreation camps. Materials and methods. The study was conducted at Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav. The following methods were used in the research: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature and documentary materials, the method of comparison, and the method of system analysis. Results. The analysis of literature sources on the research problem allowed us to establish that the introduction of new types of motor activity in the recreational and health-improving work of summer recreation camps can be one of the ways not only to increase the level of motor activity of children, but also to motivate children to further physical exercises, that, in turn, will lead to an overall increase in the level of physical development and health of children. Conclusions. Most researchers note that traditional means and methods of physical development and health and recreational activities used in summer recreation camps are ineffective and cannot solve the problems of new realities. Therefore, in our opinion, the inclusion of beach football and street ball on a regular basis in summer recreation camps can be one of the key factors in solving the problem
