Abstract
Introduction. The educational and training process of sports-tourists to participate in hikes or sports tourism competitions requires new, effective approaches and methods of training, since various tourist equipment, tactical techniques and various methods of ensuring safety are used when overcoming natural obstacles. Therefore, the issue of raising the level of the educational and training process, education and training of tourists and mastering them in technical and tactical techniques for safely overcoming natural obstacles (stages) during sports competitions and tourist trips is quite relevant. The purpose of the research is to develop organizational and methodological recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of training and training during the mastering of technical and tactical techniques when overcoming natural obstacles (stages); raising the level of training of tourist athletes and judges during sports tourism competitions. Research methods provide for the analysis, generalization and systematization of data on increasing the effectiveness of teaching technical and tactical techniques when overcoming natural obstacles (stages) during tourist trips (competitions). The following list of modern methods was used: analysis of scientific and methodical sources; study and generalization of best practices; systematic approach; method of system and structural-functional analysis. The results. The article deals with the issue of practical tourist and sports training of participants in competitions and tourist trips; methodical instructions are given to optimize the process of tourists mastering technical and tactical methods of safely overcoming natural obstacles; practical recommendations are provided for improving the level of training of participants and the organization of judging during sports tourism competitions at the «Obstacle course» and «Cross-country hiking» distances (using the example of the «Crossing ford through the River» stage), in accordance with the new version of the Rules of Sports Tourism Competitions, approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2021, and the updated Technical Regulations of Hiking Tourism Competitions. Conclusions. The method of overcoming and refereeing of the «Crossing ford through the River» stage highlighted by us will allow to optimize the training process of tourist athletes and the preparation of judges for sports tourism competitions, will contribute to safer overcoming of natural obstacles on tourist routes in real conditions
