Abstract

Introduction. of general secondary education, which would contribute to the normalization of physical activity and strengthening and preservation of the health of schoolchildren. The purpose of the research was to study the theoretical peculiarities of the organization of sectional work on football in general educational institutions. Research methods used in the work: analysis of literary sources, pedagogical observation, measurement (testing), comparison, pedagogical experiment, as well as methods of mathematical statistics Research results. In the research, it was possible to develop the latest method of teaching football to students of the upper grades. Depending on the selected tasks, special physical exercises were selected, aimed at comprehensive or selective action on the aspects of the preparedness of high school students. Thanks to the empirical analysis, it was possible to study the content and orientation of the training of high school students for successful improvement and achieving high results. As part of the study, the direction of motor activity in relation to the intensity of classes, the duration of exercises, the duration and nature of rest, the number of classes during the week, the pace of increasing the load during the week, the goal was determined. Conclusions. The main prerequisites for the successful training of third-graders in football are physical training, complex knowledge, psychological readiness for self-improvement, motor experience, material and technical provision of places for classes, and a high level of professional coaching. The results of the study made it possible to determine that the level of physical fitness of high school students is low. Which, accordingly, creates additional difficulties in studying and improving the types of training in football, which had to be taken into account when developing training methods
