Abstract
Introduction. Tourist amateur organizations are a component of modern amateur sports tourism. It is the most active and dynamic tourist activity based on a public basis. Tourist amateur organizations are voluntary public associations of tourists who exercise their rights to rest and freedom of transportation, which are guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, through the exercise of campaigns and travel on the basis of general interests. The aim of the research. The purpose of the work is to study the path of becoming tourist amateur organizations in Ukraine as an integral part of domestic sports tourism. Materials and methods. During the work, materials concerning the development of tourist amateur organizations in Ukraine were investigated. Results. The development of amateur tourist organizations from the beginning of their birth in the 30s of the 20th century to modern existence in independent Ukraine is analyzed. The reasons for the decrease in the number of sports campaigns in recent years: a difficult socio-economic situation, when there is no stability in the country, insufficient material conditions, and not secured increased growth of real incomes of the population, did not have to speak about the mass of amateur tourism; annexation by the Russian Federation of Crimea and fighting in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, became an insurmountable obstacle to not only sports campaigns, but also for holding competitions and championships in tourism equipment, even at the state level; The corona virus pandemic; Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, radically excluded the implementation of any hikes and sports and mass tourist events. Conclusions. In peacetime, to resolve the issue of development of amateur tourism and its highest manifestation – sports tourism, it is necessary: complete de -occupation from Russian troops and the restoration of Ukraine, the complete restoration of the state border of Ukraine as of 1991; availability of favorable socio-economic conditions in the country; To adopt at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine «Concept of support for the development of amateur sports tourism in Ukraine»
