Abstract
Introduction. Physical education is a part of general education and it has all the general features of the pedagogical process, to solve certain tasks. The formation of healthy, mentally prepared, socially active, morally stable, physically strongperson for future profession is the main direction of physical education. School’s extra mental loads, poor physical activity and sedentary lifestyle, malnutrition, all lead to impaired vision, deterioration of cardiovascular and respiratory systems, impaired metabolism, reduced body resistance to various diseases, which leads to a deterioration in health. In schoolchildren’s physical education process there are solved a lot of different issues: moral and volitional qualities of personality are brought up; a need for daily exercise become one of the most important habbits; vital motor actions and ability to make them in various conditions are formed; motor skills are developed. But it is impossible to solve these issues only through the efforts of the school because of the lack of time appointed for physical education according to the plan. Organized forms of physical education, provided by the school plan, is only 32% of the daily teenager needs, and spontaneous movements – 18% – 20%. So using of different forms of physical education during the day, in extracurricular and leisure time can fill the lack of physical activity. The purpose of the article is to determine the pedagogical conditions for the student's personality development by using mini-basketball. Research methods: analysis, generalization and systematization of scientific and methodical literature data on this problem. Results of researching. Pedagogical conditions are a set of potential opportunities of the educational environment (content, methods, organizational forms, material environment), the implementation of which ensures the effective functioning and development of the pedagogical system. The personality development of a junior school student by means of mini-basketball involves compliance with pedagogical conditions, which include: the direction of pedagogical actions; methods of education; developing physical abilities and teaching the technique elements of mini-basketball. Conclusions. Mini-basketball classes are interesting and cause great children’s interest, students enjoy doing exercises with balls, so playing mini-basketball is an effective not only physical, but also moral, aesthetic, labor and mental children’s education
