Abstract
Introduction. Analysis of the problem of optimizing the system of physical education in preschool education shows that one of the ways to solve this problem is the introduction of new progressive pedagogical technologies in the practice of physical culture and health work with preschoolers. Significant interest in this area is the use of physical culture and health potential of aqua fitness, the content of which is a system of selective physical exercises in the aquatic environment. However, the literature available to us clearly lacks data on the content, organization and methods of aqua fitness classes with preschool children. The aim of the study – to determine the features of the organization and methods of aqua fitness classes with preschool children. Research methods: theoretical analysis, synthesis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature on the use of aqua aerobics in the process of physical education of preschool children. Results. Aquafitness classes have an integrative effect on the development of physical and psycho-emotional components of the child's personality. The main priorities of the classes are health, as well as the formation of basic skills of swimming movements and the ability to apply them when performing more complex coordinated exercises in the aquatic environment. The updated content of classes is: performing exercises in water in pairs, with the help of a partner; slow swimming, performing movements, holding a stationary resistance; acrobatic and choreographic movements in the water; water games; simulation movements. The basis for the construction of aqua fitness classes are general theoretical provisions that contain the essence and fundamental laws of education, upbringing and comprehensive development of the individual in the process of exercise. Conclusions: conducted theoretical analysis of the research problem allowed to determine the organizational and methodological features of aqua fitness classes with preschool children
