The use of interactive technologies in the physical education process

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the impact of modern innovative tools on the effectiveness of students’ physical development in the contemporary educational process. The research methodology included an experiment involving 150 students who received lessons using various interactive technologies. Methods of testing endurance, strength and flexibility were used to assess the physical fitness of students. The results of the study demonstrated that students in the experimental group achieved significant improvements in physical fitness, particularly in endurance and flexibility tests, compared to the control group. The study noted an increase in motivation and satisfaction with the learning process among students who used interactive technologies. The data obtained confirm that interactive teaching methods improve the effectiveness of physical education and can be recommended for implementation in educational practice. The introduction of interactive technologies positively affected students, increasing motivation to engage in physical education and improving overall physical fitness. Students became more involved in the training process using mobile apps to monitor their activity, as well as virtual simulators that made training interesting and accessible. This not only increased interest in physical activities but also formed stable habits of an active lifestyle among students. Technologies that tracked progress and provided individualised recommendations were particularly effective. These technologies enabled students to receive real-time feedback, which greatly increased their motivation and helped them achieve better results in physical education. The effectiveness of interactive technologies in physical education was confirmed, which shows the expediency of using such technologies by physical education teachers in their practice to increase students’ motivation and improve their physical fitness
