Methods: theoretical (analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization); sociological (informal interviews, surveys, questionnaires); methods of mathematical statistics. Results. Based on the results of the survey, it is determined that 80% of respondents go in for sports. The results of the survey show that more students in China are motivated to engage in physical culture and sports aimed at personal development, physical improvement and improving the level of physical fitness. It was found that the level of non-specialized physical education of Chinese students is insufficient, which requires additional theoretical knowledge about the impact of exercise on the human body. Conclusions. In order to form a motivational and value attitude to physical culture and sports and successfully involve Chinese students in active physical culture and sports, it is necessary to include in the curriculum various types of physical culture and health activities that would meet the interests of Chinese students and their desire for physical improvement
